The UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.

In October, we started our consultation process on the ICO Accountability Toolkit. We’ve had an excellent response rate, reflecting the commitment we know there is to getting accountability right. The next stage of the process is a workshop with end users and we’re issuing an open invitation to those interested in attending. We are keen to ensure that the Accountability Toolkit continues to benefit from the practical insights and real life experiences of those who will use it. If you think you can help to develop our thinking, please get in touch.
