The UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.

Connection’s project engaged with homeless individuals to better understand their use and knowledge of personal data and how it’s processed. Using peer-led research, it sought to increase service user trust and confidence in how their data is used and made available. Key outputs include a report and a toolkit that can provide an effective means of communicating what their rights are and how to utilise them, as well as creating a scalable outreach process that can be taken up by other organisations.
