The Information Commissioner's Scotland office is based in the centre of Edinburgh. Edinburgh is well served by transport links.
Travelling by rail
The office is near Edinburgh Waverley station. Exit station at Market Street. Walk eastwards along East Market Street. Cross New Street into Sibbald Walk. The Scotland Office is located in Queen Elizabeth House on the north side of Sibbald Walk.
Travelling by car
Please note driving in central Edinburgh is not recommended. There is no private parking available for visitors to the Scotland Office but there is an NCP car park opposite the building in New St and there is also limited on-street parking nearby It is advised that anyone travelling by road use the various Park and Ride facilities on the outskirts of the city. The journey at peak times to the city centre is around 30-40 minutes by bus.
From Edinburgh Airport
By taxi
Exit airport terminal. Walk to Taxi Rank. The fare is approximately £25. The journey into the city centre takes approximately 30 minutes.
By public transport
Exit airport terminal. Follow signs for Lothian Buses Air Link (Service 100) or Tram Link. Alight in city centre. Head towards Waverley Station. Walk eastwards along East Market Street. Cross New Street into Sibbald Walk. The Scotland Office is located in Queen Elizabeth House on the north side of Sibbald Walk.
