On 16 June 2021 the complainant requested from the Chief Constable of Kent Police (“Kent police”) information relating to complaints by the public regarding police conduct. Kent Police provided a response to this request on 15 October 2021.
The Commissioner’s decision is that Kent Police has failed to respond to the request within 20 working days and has therefore breached regulation section 10 of the FOIA.
The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.
