The complainant requested information from Cottesmore Parish Council (“the Council”) relating to a letter which has been sent to the Council.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council is entitled to rely on section 40(2) (personal information) of the FOIA to refuse to provide the withheld information.
The Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps. First-tier tribunal (General Regulatory chamber) information rights appeal EA/2023/0118 appeal dismissed.
