The complainant requested information relating to specific material that was gathered during a review commissioned by the then Attorney General. The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) refused to provide the requested information, citing section 31(1)(c) (law enforcement) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the AGO is entitled to rely on section 31(1)(c) of FOIA to refused to disclose the withheld information.
