A former housing worker at a tenant management organisation has been prosecuted. Paul Shepherd shared a confidential report identifying a potential vulnerable victim and two men who were accused of protecting individuals who were a risk to children.

Shepherd, 47, appeared before St Albans Crown Court and the Jury returned a guilty verdict of three counts of unlawfully obtaining and disclosing personal data, in breach of s55 of the Data Protection Act 1998. He was fined £200 on each count and was also ordered to pay £3,500 costs.
