You are not required to pay a fee
Based on your answers, you do not have to pay a fee to the ICO.
Please fill in our exemptions form so we can update our records.
Should I pay the fee even though I am exempt?
We do not expect you to pay if you are exempt, but some organisations choose to register and pay a fee despite being exempt so they can be listed on our register of data protection fee payers.
Your data protection obligations
Even though you are exempt from paying a fee, you still need to comply with your data protection obligations. You can find advice to help you with this on our website: Advice for small organisations.
What if I start trading?
You would need to re-assess whether you are required to pay a fee by completing this assessment again.
