Complain to the ICO
The user needs to put signs up if their camera captures footage outside their property boundary, eg on the street, into a neighbour’s property or in a shared space. If they do not have signs, you can complain to the ICO.
When you complain to us, if we think the user broke the rules, we will send a letter asking them to put up signs. However, there is limited action we can take after this point.
