Working together, the ICO, Ofcom, PhonepayPlus, the Competition & Markets Authority and the Financial Conduct Authority have released some top tips to help you make the most of your smart device and apps with confidence.
Safer Smartphones
Smartphones are used by millions of us to go online each day, but they also carry some risks. Should your smartphone fall into the wrong hands, it is a potential treasure trove of information. If you download a rogue application, it’s even possible for hackers to hijack your phone without it leaving your side.
In collaboration with Ofcom, the Office of Fair Trading and PhonepayPlus, the ICO has released the following guidance on how you can protect the information held on your smartphone.
