1. Are you a trade body, representative organisation or a body able to talk on behalf of your sector?

3. Does your code outline methods for the effective monitoring of compliance by code members with your code of conduct?

4. Does your code outline structures and procedures for the investigation, identification and management of infringements by code members?

5. Does your code only involve the processing activities of public authorities or bodies?

6. Have you identified a monitoring body and can provide sufficient information to support the requirements for the approval of the body by the ICO.

You’re not yet ready to submit a code of conduct
Codes of conduct which involve the processing activities of private or non-public authorities or bodies must also identify a monitoring body to carry out compliance monitoring of code members against the code. This body will need to be accredited by the ICO.
