The request relates to an inquiry the ICO conducted on the use of algorithms and similar technologies in the welfare and care sector. The request asked whether the ICO had investigated the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithms administered by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) and, if so, to provide the results of this investigation.
