Wales office
The ICO’s Welsh Affairs team is based in Cardiff and represents the ICO in Wales and Wales in the ICO. The team manages relationships with key stakeholders in Wales including government and the wider public sector. The team engages on relevant national policy, legislation and programmes and raises awareness of the ICO and information rights laws.
Welsh Language Standards
The ICO welcomes calls and emails in Welsh, with our Welsh Affairs team providing services in line with our Compliance Notice, issued under the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.
Complaints and compliments relating to our compliance with the Welsh language should be made in writing and directed to the Wales office using the contact details below. These will be handled in accordance with our service standards and our existing complaints procedure. Following the completion of our complaints process, unresolved concerns can be reported to the Welsh Language Commissioner.
