Procurement Regulations
The Procurement Act comes into force on the 28th of October 2024. Although thresholds remain the same, the responsibilities and procedures will change.
The new Procurement Act provides a more flexible way of procuring. Although all ICO tendering opportunities will be available on Delta, a central digital platform called ‘Find A Tender’ will be available for suppliers to register and store their details. Suppliers can also view opportunities in this space.
Content has been created for suppliers which is available now via gov.uk, including a newsletter and videos.

Under the Procurement (Transparency) Regulations within the Act, suppliers must register on the new central digital platform called ‘Find A Tender’ which provides a registration number to allow participation in public sector procurement opportunities.
Please be aware, if you are a supplier to the ICO you must register yourself as a supplier on the new Government Central Digital Platform before 28th October in readiness for when the Procurement Act comes into force.
