Responses to the call for views on political campaigning
The ICO is working on a new framework code of practice for the use of personal data in political campaigning.
The framework code seeks to explain and clarify data protection and electronic marketing laws. It also seeks to provide practical guidance and useful examples on ways campaigners could comply with their obligations whilst carrying out common political campaigning activities.
As part of this work, we asked organisations for their views. We have now published their responses and our summary of the responses. Individual responses have not been published, only those that explicitly named the organisation.
For more information about what we do with personal data please see our privacy notice.
