The UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.

As required by the Data Protection Act 2018 we have been working on a direct marketing code of practice.

As part of the first stage of the consultation process, we issued a call for views to ask relevant stakeholders and the public for their input into the development of the code. We have now published responses of the organisations that responded, along with our summary of all the responses received. Responses from individuals (eg members of the public) have not been published.
