The Data Protection Essentials public register is where you can check which small organisations and sole traders have chosen to share that they’ve completed our Data Protection Essentials training and self-assessment programme.
Being listed helps organisations show that they're taking steps to safeguard people’s information and handle it responsibly, in trusted ways.
This register is separate from our register of fee payers. It reflects completion of data protection training, not whether an organisation has paid the data protection fee.
Data Protection Essentials isn’t a certification scheme or an ICO endorsement, and inclusion on the register doesn’t confirm an organisation’s compliance with data protection law.
