We carried out consensual audit engagements with developers and providers of artificial intelligence (AI) powered sourcing, screening, and selection tools used in recruitment.
We recognise that the use of AI tools in recruitment processes can offer benefits to employers, but their use can also lead to risks for people and their privacy and information rights.
We undertook this work as part of our upstream monitoring of the wider AI ecosystem to understand how the development and provision of AI recruitment tools complies with UK data protection law.
