Sunderland City Council

The complainant made a series of requests to Sunderland City Council (‘the Council’) between February 2008 and December 2009 regarding speed camera signage following his conviction for a speeding offence. The Council declared his request of 17 December 2009 to be vexatious under section 14(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (‘the Act’). The Commissioner has investigated and finds that the public authority correctly applied section 14(1) to the request. Information Tribunal appeal number EA/2010/0168 struck out.
