The complainant requested information regarding the public authority’s assessment of a potential Export Credits Guarantee Department (ECGD) backed project to construct bridges in Sri Lanka. The Commissioner’s decision is that the information within the scope of the request is exempt from disclosure on the basis of the exception at regulation 12(4)(e) – (internal communications) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
