North East Derbyshire District Council

  • Date 31 January 2012
  • Sector Local government
  • Decision(s) EIR 12.4.a: Not upheld
The complainant requested the disclosure of information relating to how a named employee at North East Derbyshire District Council (the “NEDDC”) came to a valuation of a particular plot of land that was sold to a private investment group. The NEDDC refused the request on the grounds that it does not hold the information. The Commissioner’s decision is that, on the balance of probabilities, the NEDDC holds no information relevant to the request. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2012/0052 allowed.
