The complainant has requested a wide range of information about various historical incidents involving his wife and subsequent related investigations involving a named police officer and others. The Commissioner’s decision is that South Yorkshire Police correctly dealt with the request as vexatious relying on section 14(1) of FOIA. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
