The complainant has requested various pieces of information about the public authority’s running of the Longfield Suite, an entertainment facility maintained by Bury Council. The request was refused as vexatious by Bury Council. The Commissioner’s decision is that Bury Council has correctly applied section 14(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 in refusing the complaint’s request as vexatious. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2012/0062 allowed.
