  • Decision(s) FOI 40: Not upheld
The complainant requested details of a named solicitor’s qualifications. The Information Commissioner’s decision is that the Ministry of Justice (the MOJ) correctly identified the information as personal data of a third party and withheld it as such under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the FOIA). The Information Commissioner does not require the MOJ to take any remedial steps. Information Tribunal appeal number EA/2012/0084 dismissed.
