The Department for Education (DfE) refused to provide the requested information under section 35(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). The Commissioner’s decision is that the DfE has correctly applied section 35(1)(a) to withhold the requested information in this case. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
