The complainant has requested information about the Mineworker’s Pension Scheme, specifically the minutes of meetings in the period 1990-1992 during which the division of scheme surpluses was discussed. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Department for Energy and Climate Change (“DECC”) has correctly applied section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act (the “FOIA”) to this request. Therefore he does not require any steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal (EA/2013/0063) struck out.
