The complainant has requested information relating to the resignation of Whitchurch Town Council’s (the “council”) former town clerk. The council refused the request, withholding the information under the exemption for personal data. The Commissioner’s decision is that, in refusing the request, the council correctly relied upon the exemption for personal data. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
