The Home Office provided some information within scope of the request but refused to provide the remainder, citing section 31(1)(e) of FOIA (law enforcement). The Commissioner’s decision is that the Home Office was correct to rely on section 31(1)(e) to withhold the information. He requires no steps to be taken.
