Cambridgeshire Constabulary
- Date 4 July 2013
- Sector Police and criminal justice
- Decision(s) FOI 14: Not upheld
The complainant made a request for information relating to a complaint he had made about an investigation. The Constabulary refused the request under section 14(1) of the FOIA as it considered it vexatious. The Commissioner’s decision is that the request is vexatious and that section 14 was applied correctly. The Constabulary is therefore not obliged to comply with the request. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2013/0151 dismissed. Information Tribunal appeal GIA/894/2014 allowed. Information Tribunal appeal GIA/1718/2016 (permission to appeal) refused.
