University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust

The complainant has requested various information relating to the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust’s (the Trust) histopathology/pathology services. The Trust refused to comply with the request as it considered it `vexatious under section 14 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The Commissioner’s decision is that the Trust has correctly applied section 14 FOIA in this case. It is not therefore obliged to comply with the request. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal EA/2013/0201 dismissed.
