South London Healthcare NHS Trust

The complainant made a freedom of information request to the South London Healthcare NHS Trust for information related to the building of the Princess Royal University Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The Trust refused the request by relying on the exemptions in section 36(2)(c) (Public affairs), section 41 (Information provided in confidence) and section 43 (Commercial interests). The Commissioner has found that none of the exemptions are engaged and the information should be disclosed. The Commissioner requires the public authority to disclose to the complainant the information it holds falling within the scope of the request of 12 July 2012. This decision notice is currently under appeal to the Tribunal.
