The complainant has requested a copy of Shotteswell Parish Council’s insurance documents and a copy of an inspection report from July 2011 and associated correspondence relating to a children’s play area. Shotteswell Parish Council (‘the council’) council initially provided some information but the complainant alleged that more was held. The council then applied section 14 to the request as it considered it to be vexatious. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council has correctly applied section 14 to the request. He does not require any steps to be taken.
