  • Decision(s) FOI 14: Not upheld
The complainant made a freedom of information request to the Financial Ombudsman Service (“the FOS”) for information related to its current procedures on various matters. The FOS refused the request under section 14(1) of FOIA on the grounds that it was vexatious. The Commissioner has investigated the complaint and found that the FOS was correct to refuse the request as vexatious under section 14(1) and so requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0004 dismissed.
