NHS Commissioning Board

The complainant requested from the NHS Commissioning Board the dates, agendas and minutes of eight private meetings. In response to this request it disclosed the meeting dates and agendas but withheld the minutes under section 36(2) of the FOIA. However, following the intervention of the Commissioner it agreed to disclose the minutes in full without any redactions. The Commissioner’s decision is that the NHS Commissioning Board breached section 10 of the FOIA by failing to provide the requested information in its entirety within twenty working days. However, now that the information has been disclosed the Commissioner does not require the NHS Commissioning Board to take any steps.
