  • Decision(s) FOI 35: Not upheld
The complainant asked the public authority to provide him with advice from the Law Officers to the United Kingdom’s Government on Scotland’s future membership of the European Union if it votes for independence. The Commissioner’s decision is that the public authority was entitled to neither confirm nor deny whether it held any information within the scope of the request on the basis of sections 35(1)(c) and 35(3) FOIA. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
