East Riding of Yorkshire Council

The complainant has requested East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s (“the Council”) internal audit reports on its Youth Service. The Council relied on sections 36(2)(b)(i) and (ii) to withhold the requested information. The Commissioner’s decision is that East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s reliance on section 36(2)(b)(ii) was correct. The Commissioner requires the public authority to take no steps following his decision.
