The complainant requested information about the number of small claims processed in Lincoln County Court since 2010. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) confirmed that it holds the information but refused to provide it citing section 12 of the FOIA (cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limit). The Commissioner considers that section 12 of the FOIA was applied correctly in this case. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0127 dismissed.
