The complainant has requested information on how the London Borough of Bromley deals with procedural breaches occurring in a tendering process. The Council relied on sections 12 (cost) and 14 (vexatious request) not to comply with the request. The Commissioner’s decision is that neither of these sections are engaged and therefore the Council has breached the Act. The Commissioner requires the public authority to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
