The complainant has requested a copy of legal advice that the London Borough of Bexley (“the Council”) relied upon to determine whether its policies were in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has correctly applied the exemption set out at section 42 of FOIA. The Commissioner requires the public authority to take no steps.
