The complainant requested information from St Peter’s Church of England Middle School (“the School”) relating to School accounts, the payroll and numbers of teaching staff and pay rises received. The School stated that to try and comply with the request would exceed the appropriate costs limit set by section 12(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the School has correctly applied section 12(1) to the request but that it committed some procedural breaches. There are no further steps to be taken.
