University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust

The complainant has requested information about a Board to Board meeting between University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust (UHMB) and North Lancashire Teaching Primary Care Trust (NLTPCT). UHMB stated it would exceed the cost limit to determine if information was held and therefore applied section 12 of the FOIA to refuse the request. The Commissioner’s decision is that UHMB correctly refused the request under section 12 and he therefore requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0245 dismissed.
