  • Decision(s) FOI 14: Not upheld

The complainant requested information about a particular (now non-operational) mobile speed camera site. South Wales Police initially stated that it did not hold the information requested. In its internal review it stated that it considered the request to be vexatious and, as such, it was relying on section 14(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that South Wales Police has correctly applied section 14(1) of the FOIA to the request. He does not require any steps to be taken.
