East of England Ambulance Trust

The complainant made a request to the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (“the Trust”) for information about a number of emails which appeared to mention him. In response the Trust said that the requested information was not held. The complainant then made a follow up request for the name of the FOI Officer who had drafted that response. The Trust refused this request under section 40(2). The Commissioner’s decision is that for the first request the information is not held and that for the second request the information is exempt under section 40(2) of FOIA. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0303 dismissed.
