The complainant has requested various items of information regarding the departure details of the Park Authority’s former Chief Executive. The Park Authority refused to provide the requested information by virtue of section 40(2) of the FOIA on the basis that they constituted the personal information of the data subject. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Park Authority was correct to rely on section 40(2) of the FOIA and he does not require the Park Authority to take any steps.
