The complainant has requested information about fatal accidents involving bus drivers being distracted by passengers. The Metropolitan Police Service (the “MPS”) undertook work up to the appropriate limit and went on to cite section 12(2) as it was unable to ascertain whether it held any further information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the MPS has properly relied on section 12(2) and has given appropriate advice and assistance. He does not require any steps.
