The complainant has requested information about a Permitted Development Order, a Planning Order and the Encyclopaedia of Planning Law and Practice 2014. The British Library says that this information is already publicly available either in the Library and/or on a named website and is therefore exempt from disclosure under the FOIA, under section 21. The Commissioner’s decision is that the British Library has correctly applied section 21 of the FOIA to this request. The information is exempt from disclosure and he does not require the British Library to take any further steps.
