North Bristol NHS Trust

The complainant has requested the full PFI contract for North Bristol NHS Trust between North Bristol Hospital and the Hospital Company. The Trust provided much of the contract, Schedules and clauses but continued to withhold some information which it considered to be commercially sensitive (section 43). The Commissioner accepts the section 43(2) exemption is engaged but considers the balance of the public interest favours disclosure in this case. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2015/0022 part allowed.
