The complainant has requested the university to disclose a copy of its contract with Interserve; a supplier contracted to provide facilities management to the university. The university responded. It disclosed the majority of information but withheld certain elements of the contract under sections 41 and 43 of the FOIA. The Commissioner has reviewed the remaining withheld information and he is satisfied that section 43 of the FOIA has been correctly applied by the university. As a result he has not gone on to consider the application of section 41 of the FOIA and requires no further action to be taken.
