Norfolk County Council

  • Date 27 January 2015
  • Sector Local government
  • Decision(s) FOI 1: Not upheld

The complainant has requested a sealed copy of a court order regarding the sale of her property and a Statement of Truth. The council provided an unsealed copy and said that only a court and the recipient of the order holds sealed copies of the document. It also said that no Statement of Truth was necessary or held by it. It therefore argues that it does not hold the requested information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council was correct to say that it does not hold the requested information. The Commissioner does not require the council to take any steps.
