London Borough of Barnet

The complainant has requested from the London Borough of Barnet (“the Council”) information relating to the estimated costs of court and bailiff matters and the rescinding of a Liability order.

The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council did not deal with the request for information in accordance with FOIA by failing to provide a response to the request within the statutory timeframe of 20 working days. As a response has now been provided, the Commissioner requires the Council to take no steps.
